BACKSCHEIDER

Ruth E. (nee Merrill), dear mother of Linda and Christopher (Carla) Backscheider, Barbara (George) Freudenberg, Claire (Scott) Ballard. Preceded in death by husband Virgil C., children Susan and Paul Backscheider, sister Helen Gerke and brother Robert Merrill. Also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, at 82 years of age. Visitation B. J. Meyer Sons Overlook Memorial Center, 4841 Glenway Avenue, (next to St. Teresa Church) on Tuesday from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial 1:30PM at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 1175 Overlook Avenue. Memorials may be made in the form of masses to the church of one's choice. www.bjmeyersons.com
