Oleta Rigdon Obituary
Born in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of Edgar and Ruby Farmer Netherton of Candler.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Tessa Bonning; and brother, Michael Netherton.
Surviving are her children, Rubyejean and Jessie Rigdon of Alabama; sisters, Rebecca Hill and Kristie Mull of Candler.
Leta was a most caring, helpful and generous person and will be greatly missed.
A celebration of her life and family visitation will be 12 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, at her parents home, 327 Beaverdam Loop Rd., Candler.
Burial service will be held at a later date at Brown's View Church Cemetery.

As you very well know, Leta and I go back before we started school. I have too many fond memories to list, but I have always kept this picture of her blowing this kiss and this is the way I will always remember Leta. I do believe she is in Heaven now, blowing kisses to all who love her.
