Dearest Darrell and Dorienda and Families,
I send my heart felt sympathy to you in the loss of your Mother and the pain you feel for your Dad also. When I last talked with your Mom she had shared some of Arnold's condition and health issues he faces. I pray that God will give you the wisdom and strength to make decisions that you will need to make in the future for your Dad and in taking care of the arrangements for his care that will be necessary.
I have always known and admired your family for sticking together during the tough and trying times over the years. I always remember Arnold as a very hard worker and both of them being devoted to both of you when you were growing up. Your Mom was a very strong and faithful spouse and Mother and you will always have those memories of better times and also some of the times we all go through that are difficult. Through it all, both of you have made your parents proud of the adults and parents that you have become..and as a past Teaching Assistant in your earlier years I could not be more proud of both of you and your many contributions to your church, homes and the communities in which you live.
I will continue to remember you in my prayers and thoughts. Please feel free to call me just to talk if you feel the need, or if I can help in any way I am here for you.
