Mrs. Kiesler was a phenomenal teacher who had such a passion for teaching and science. I'm extremely grateful that I ran into her, 10 years after I was her student, to tell her what an impact she had made on me. She was by far the most influential teacher in my student career. She will forever be the reason behind my enthusiasm for nature and science.

We were very fortunate to have Allison as our neighbor for over 15 years. She exuded cheerfulness, optimism and generosity in abundance. While we are sad she has died, and we mourn, we're so grateful, and celebrate, that she LIVED.

Dear Sarah and Ben,
I was so deeply saddened to hear of your mother's passing. I remember her warm and tender way with people as well as animals. I know that she loved you both very much, and while she has gone to a better place she will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her. My prayers will be with you, as you remember the wonderful woman who touched the lives of so many.
May God Bless You, and Heaven Smile Upon You!!!
Sincerely,
Elaine Probst

I'm sorry I can't come to her memorial, Lewis Ginter is the perfect location- she loved science and nature! My daughter and I encountered Allison at Orchard House- she worked so hard!

I am so happy that my daughter and I both had an opportunity to know Mrs. Kiesler. She had such a wonderful spirit and was a great role model for young women with her animals and plants. I always loved that she never anthropomorphized her animals. If you asked her what her turtle's name was, she would say, "box turtle". It was a good reminder to all of us that wild animals are not pets. We will miss you, Allison.
