Asheville - Boyd William Holcombe, 76 of Asheville, passed away on Monday, February 1,2016. His funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday February 5, 2016 in the chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-11am prior to the service at the funeral home. We are very sorry for your loss. Boyd was a good man and I will always remember the times we shared and memories we made, especially hunting together. I will miss him greatly,he was like a 2nd father to me. I am glad Austin & Morgan had him as a Grandfather.Your family is in our prayers.

Dear Barbara:
It caught me by surprise to see Boyd's obituary notice. Obviously, I haven't kept up with you and Randy and Traci, but you all have a very special place in my childhood memory.
Please know that I remember you and Boyd very well and fondly. You two were the coolest couple in Fairview!
I trust and pray that your health is good and that you will continue to prosper for many years to come.
