Audrey Fraley Obituary

Audrey A. Fraley, 85, of Wapwallopen, entered into eternal rest Thursday, June 1, 2017, at the Celtic Hospice of Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Nanticoke, she was a daughter of the late Royce and Mildred Spaide Engler.

Audrey was a graduate of Newport High School, a member of the Stairville United Methodist Church and a past member of the Nuangola Chapel. She was a life member of the Nuangola Ladies Auxiliary and the Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union ladies garment workers union. 

Audrey loved to sew, playing bingo, Scrabble and cards, but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her brothers, Royce, Walter and Charles Engler.

Audrey is survived by her son, Scott Fraley and his wife, Nora, Wapwallopen; sister, Lois Rinehimer, Penndel; brother, Clarence Engler and his wife, Rose, Levittown; sister, Beverly Schnebelin, Slocum Twp.; her godchild; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Stairville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Mark Dodson officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall.

Funeral arrangements are by McCune Funeral Home, Mountain Top.
