David Engler Obituary
Born in Folstown, Slocum Township, he was the son of the late David and Florence Fink Engler.
David was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Mountain Top, the Irem Shrine, Dallas, and the Coalville Masonic Lodge. He was a 32nd-degree Mason.
Prior to his retirement, David was a maintainance supervisor for both the L.E. Spaide and Elick Trucking companies and was vice president of maintainance for the LaBar Trucking Co.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his parents, were his wife, Grace Engler; and an infant brother.
Surviving are his daughter, Florence Lear and husband, David, Mountain Top; and his son, David Engler, Floral City, Fla. A sister, Shirley Edwards, Catasaqua, also survives, along with six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday from McCune Funeral Home, 80 S. Mountain Blvd., Mountain Top. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and again from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday.

May God be with the Engler and Lear family at this time. I remember when their car would be in one of your drive ways and we were out playing in the yard, "Oh gotta go, the grandparents are here." You were so fortuneate to have them.

Jim and I are very saddened by Uncle LLoyds death, we use to have such fun with him and Aunt Grace , and Mom and Dad playing cards.Many very good memories . Our thoughts and prayers are with oyu at this time. love Barb and Jim
