Heather McAvoy Obituary

?In memory of Heather L. (Sparks) McAvoy.

Heather was not only beautiful on the outside but beautiful inside. She would give to anyone she was in contact with. She immediately struck up a friendship with her radiant personality.

Loved animals with a passion, they all had to sleep on her bed with her. Mischief always found her, riding fast on her ATV, skiing, hiking and sleighing at Montage, but most of all swimming with the dolphins in the Keys, always something fun.

Loved to travel, she embraced life to the fullest, even if her pain was bad, she still kept going.

She made many friends in her lifetime and many acquaintances.

Not enough time in her young life to accomplish every dream she had.

There will never be another you!

We were proud of you since you were a baby and you grew into a beautiful daughter, mother and wife.

The hurting has stopped for you but will never stop for us.

You'll always be planted in our hearts, until we meet again some day.

We love and miss you Heather Lurene so much.

I only recently learned of Heather's passing. I took dancing lessons from her many years ago at Arthur Murray's in Scranton. She was a kind, warm and had an engaging personality. I hope to God she is at peace and with her mom.

Wow...I will miss her dearly. I have so many memories with Heather. Heather and I were best friends in Kindergarten. I will never forget the first day of kindergarten. My mom had to call several moms because I did not come home right away and Sandy her mom told my mom I think she is walking hand and hand with my daughter in the football field (Dana Elementary). We fought like sisters and I remember her mom having to separate us but we always worked it out and were close. Her mom was my second mom who I was so blessed to reconnect with about a year ago. I was also blessed to reconnect with Heather and take my kids to visit her who instantly loved her. She was a very energetic, loving, positive person and would do anything for you. She is very dear to me and will be deeply missed.
