Rosalie Wentz Obituary
Born in Wanamie, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Margaret Gillis Skrinski. She was a graduate of Newport Twp. High School, Class of 1946. Rosalie was a devoted housewife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of St. Faustina Parish in Nanticoke.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her brother, Anthony; and sisters, Helen Vuoto, Mary Zuchowski and Catherine Bunting.
Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Edwin J. Wentz. She will also be fondly remembered by her daughters, Debra Massaker and husband, Kevin, Nanticoke; Maria Maloney and husband, Joseph, Wilkes-Barre; and her granddaughter, Margaret Harris and husband, Craig, Hanover Twp.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday from Stanley S. Stegura Funeral Home, 614 Hanover St., Nanticoke, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Faustina Parish. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Wanamie. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, please make a charitable donation to an organization of your choice or perform and act of kindness for someone in need.
