Kelly Gorham Obituary
Born June 27, 1983, in Wilkes-Barre, she was a daughter of Susan Lonsdale Gorham of Wilkes-Barre and the late Michael J. (Mickey) Gorham.
Kelly was educated in Wilkes-Barre schools and attended a private school in New York for two years, where she was named to the All-State Basketball Team. She was a 2002 graduate of E.L. Meyers High School and continued her education at Luzerne County Community College.
In addition to her father, paternal grandparents, Michael J. and Helen Pointek Gorham, preceded her in death.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are a brother, Michael; maternal grandmother, Hilda Anstett, Kingston; aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Church, 226 S. Washington St., Wilkes-Barre.
In lieu of flowers, and in hope of helping others similarly afflicted, memorial donations may be made to the Kelly Gorham Fund for Children with Eating Disorders, c/o The Luzerne Foundation, 140 Main St., Luzerne, PA 18709-1273.
Arrangements are by M.J. McLaughlin Company.

Susan and Michael: Dad and I were shocked and pained when Grace informed us of Kelly's passing. Had we known sooner rest assured we would have been there with you both during this sorrowful time. With the most sincere sympathy imaginable we wish you comfort.

We lift you both up in our thoughts and our prayers each and every day, as this is such a hard time for you both.
Mom still remembers babysitting both Kelly and Michael so many years ago, and may it give you both some little peace in knowing that so many of us feel your sadness now and always ... it is just that we never really know or understand what God's plan is for any of us.
Know that we send you our deepest love, and just know that both Mickey and Kelly are now both watching over you both, as well as everyone that loved them!
