Steven Thompson Obituary

Steven C. Thompson, 55, of Topeka passed away at his home on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006. Steven was born May 30, 1950 to Leroy and Betty Thompson in Topeka. He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School and Kaw Valley Area Vo-Tech. Steven worked many years for the City of Topeka and Mikes Frame Shop. He served in the U.S. Navy. He had been a member of East Side Baptist Church. Survivors include his companion Connie Johnson; his life-long friends, Mike and & Bonnie Gish and Buddy his little Dog. His family ! includes Michael Thompson, Marcia Lind and Brenda Diver all of Topeka and Lori Day of Wakarusa; and one known daughter, Mary Jordon of Lyndon, Kansas; two nieces and nephews. Graveside services and interment will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 1st at Bethel Cemetery southeast of Topeka. The family will receive friends from 7-8pm Tuesday evening at Davidson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Topeka Rescue Mission and Oakland United Methodist Church.
