Aylene J. Fowler

Aylene J. Fowler, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Lexington Park. Mrs. Fowler had been a registered nurse her entire career and was on the nursing staff of Colmery-ONeil Medical Center at the time of her retirement. Prior to being at the V.A. Hospital staff, Mrs. Fowler was on the nursing staff of St. Francis Hospital in Topeka for a number of years and a care giver her whole life. She was a member of Kansas Engineering Society Auxiliary, Nautilus Club, The Thursday Group, Kansas and Shawnee County Historical Societies, Central Congregational Church and a past member of Shawnee Country Club. Mrs. Fowler was born in Leonardville, KS to Carl and Edna (Springer) Nilson, both deceased. Mrs. Fowler was married to Lowell W. (Ike) Fowler. He preceded her in death Nov. 2000. Mrs. Fowler is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Nancy L. Cloutier (Jim), Marion, KS, their children, Beau Cloutier (Dani), their children, Britton and Morgan, Braeden Cloutier, his children, Kyra, Maia, and Keegan, Blythe Settle (Craig), their children, Colin, Cayley, Camden, and Kinsley, and a son, Lowell N. Nile Fowler (Kate), Topeka, KS and their children Garrett and Kylie. She is also survived by her sister, Mrs. Marcelene Cessna (Del) of Englewood, FL; two nephews, Don Cessna, Englewood, FL and Scott Cessna (Harriett), Venice, FL and their children, Julie and Tyler. Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home is assisting in the private service.
