Billy Hieronymus Obituary

Billy L. Hieronymus, 85, Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Midland Hospice House. Billy was born October 19, 1925, in Shreveport, LA, the daughter of John Elliott and Eunice (Hog) Price. She was an avid gardener, a member of the Day Lily Club, and enjoyed bowling. Billy married Homer H. Hank Hieronymus on November 18, 1944, in Shreveport, LA. He died April 8, 1995. Survivors include son, Dan Hieronymus, Topeka; daughters, Nancy (Robert ) Mayfield, Topeka, Janie (Bud) Ronsse, Ketchum, OK, Terri (Glen) Sohl, Lawrence, Debbie Weeks, Topeka; 19 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sister, Julia Faye Cecil, Shreveport, LA; and sister-in-law, Gretchen Beal, Longmont, CO. She was also preceded in death by grandchildren, Crystal and Cassie Weeks; and brother, Ray Price. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
