Leona Webster Obituary

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. Leona Darlene Webster, 65, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born August 1, 1945 in Topeka, Kansas to Mark and Leona Chandley. Leona was united in marriage to Nolan H. Webster on March 26, 1966 in Topeka, Kansas. She is survived by one son, Dr. Darrin Webster of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who is married to Dr. Michelle Webster. Leona has two grandchildren, Austin Webster and Ashley Webster. Leona is survived by one sister, Marian Webb of Topeka, Kansas and one brother, Darrell Chandley of Marietta, Kansas; several nieces and nephews; one brother-in-law, Donald Webb; and sister-in-law, Darlene Chandley. Leona was a loving caring mother who after raising her son started playing golf and really loved the game. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2011 at 11 AM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with inurnment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens. Nolan,
My heart is broken. I so enjoyed being with Darlene. We had some good times on and off the Golf course. I especially enjoyed visiting ya'll on Sunday evenings after golf. I wish we could be there with you at this time. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I want you to come see us soon. I know you are going to have some lonely moments, call us anytime. We will do what we can to help you.
