Lola Morrison

MANDAN, Nd.- Lola Morrison, age 86, of Mandan, ND, died July 28, 2010 at a Mandan care center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Monday, August 2, 2010 at Messiah Lutheran Church in Mandan. Lola Jean Senne was born on February 28, 1924 at Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John and Josephine (Gehrt) Senne. She was united in marriage to John Warren Morrison on June 17, 1951 in Topeka. They made their home in Sugarcreek, Missouri until 1955 when they moved to Mandan in connection with Warren's employment as an engineer with Amoco Refinery. Lola is survived by her daughters, Kathryn Morrison and her special friend, Randy Kramer, of Bowman, ND and Cindi Kautzman and her husband, Gene of Mandan; her son, John Morrison and his wife, Connie of Mandan; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and her sister, Lucy Munk and her husband, Tom of Topeka, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Warren who died in1995; and her brother, Harold Senne and his wife, Edna Mae. In lieu of flowers, Lola's family prefers memorials be made to Messiah Lutheran Church, Mandan or Medcenter One Hospice, Bismarck.
