Oh, Jean, I decided to look you up on the internet today and found this. I am so sorry for your loss of Bernie. You both were so great to Dave and me when we were in the Air Force. And his mom and dad were so welcoming too. You made those years so much more memorable. Such a sweet couple. I lost Dave in 1998. Maybe they are meeting up again. I'll keep you in my prayers.

Bernie it was nice to have known you these past years and the visits we had about a range of subjects and I did like your emails that you sent. Dick Taylor

Bernie was my friend. He was a great guy, always thinking of other before himself. If anyone deserved to go to Heaven, it's him. Good Bless you Bernie. Kenny Eaton

Bernie was a great guy, who helped me a lot when I was a young architect working at the State. As I write this I am sitting less than 10 feet away from a drafting table he gave me when I left the State Architects' to start my own practice. Rest in peace, Bernie. You helped innumerable people (and cats). Charles Linn

Bernie used to bring his dad, Bernie Sr., into a doctor's office I used to work for. We used to call him Hollywood, such a handsome man and was so kind to his father. He spoke highly of his wife and told us all about their flying adventures. He was a class act, glad I had the pleasure of knowing him.
