Jamie Hitsman Obituary

Jamie Scott Hitsman After a long brave battle to recover following a traumatic brain injury, Jamie Scott Hitsman, 44, passed away on October 28, 2013. Jamie was born on January 6, 1969, in Topeka, Kansas. He is survived by his loving wife Karla, son Jackson, daughter Sheyene, and grandson Truman, as well as his mother Donna Hitsman. Jamie was preceded in death by his brother Joshua. Just a few of Jamie s many outstanding qualities were his ability to converse with anyone, make friends easily, and bring smiles to others. That strength and joy are what his family and friends will remember most. Jamie was also a talented football player in his youth and a skilled mechanic in his adulthood who loved working on classic cars and motorcycles. Private services are being held. Friends and family are invited to share stories as well as photos and light a candle in honor of Jamie at his memorial website: http://jamie.hitsman.muchloved.com In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Brain Trauma Foundation (www.braintrauma.org).
