I so enjoyed Patricia. She helped me prepare students for library work and did a good job helping the students who were from all over the world. We will miss her! - Bobbie Anderson

I read of Patricia's transcending with great sorrow.. She was most extraordinary.. I met her just after she came to Washburn. We teamed up to work with our students and even did some national conferences about the teamwork between the faculty teaching a course and the librarian..She was a visionary and pioneer. My heart goes out to you Ambriel and and family. Keeping you all in my prayers. Dr. Nan Palmer, Professor, Dept of Social Work, former Chair.

I had the privilege of knowing Mrs. Renn-Scanlan when she was our patient at KU Med. I enjoyed many long conversations with her, impressed with her wit, her knowledge, her courage and her strength. She was a special person and I will miss her.
Ambriel, you were/are such a good daughter to her. She was very proud of you and loved you and her grandchildren immensely. My thoughts are with you and your family.
