Bert was always a kind hearted and loving grandfather. I had the honor and pleasure of knowing him, when he followed Lauren and Brandon playing golf for Topeka Haden High School. He was always respectful and courteous. All who knew Bert were blessed to call him friend.

To Bert's extended family:

The Lardner/Hoferer family will truly miss Bert. He was a loyal friend to my uncle Charles, "Corky" Lardner. My mother Susie Hoferer was a little said this last Christmas eve as we sat at MPH for mass. She was thinking about all of her friends who had died in the last year. After Mass as she turned to leave I heard “Hello Bert!" Seeing your dad made her day. Of course he was his usually friendly self. Just like your mother while at a family party years ago holding and calming a crying baby she didn't even know. It was just the mother in her! What a great couple they were.

Bert, Michelle, and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Your dad was a great guy and was a great example to others. He was truly a genuine person; was always humble of his personal and professional successes; very well-respected; and one who cared for those around him. You were lucky to have had him as your dad/grandfather. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

So sorry to hear of Berts passing. My sincere sympathy goes out the the Falley family.
Bert was a good man and one of my mentors.
I worked at the meat plant through the 1980's.
I have modeled his down to earth ways and level organizational management style as I progressed through my career. Bert made you feel like you were an important part of the company, even when you were the kid cleaning the meat plant. He asked me to go goose hunting with him once. I still tell the story of that trip today. The experience was a life changer for me!

Bert, Michele, Brandon, Lauren, Brock, and Family:
Please accept our sincere condolences and prayers for your family during this time of extreme loss. I came to know, respect, and appreciate Bert when I coached Golf at Hayden High School. Bert loved to attend and watch his grandchildren (Brandon and Lauren) play varsity golf; he took great pride in their many accomplishments and loved them dearly. Bert befriended me; he always had an encouraging and kind word to say. He cared for and placed others ahead of himself. The greatness of a man is measured by how he treats others and conducts himself, as a mentor for others to follow; Bert was that great man. He will always be remembered kindly by me and by others, that loved him. One thing that really stood out to me was his deep love for grandchildren and family. Bert was a blessing to all that knew him. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Falley family.

My sympathy goes to Bert's family. Bert and Tuny attended my mother's grave side service three years ago. I had never met Bert before, but I immediately knew who he was. We had a very nice chat. My parents(Don and Althea Tice) always talked about Bert's parents when I was growing up. They had love and admiration for the Falley family.
I'm glad I got to spend a few minutes with Bert three years ago.

I have so many great things to say about Mr. Falley.

Mr. Falley was so good to me and my family. He would take me and my 9 siblings, to his pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, every year for Halloween, and after the pumpkin patch he would take us to the gas station and buy us all a soda.
and every Christmas he would deliver a case of oranges and apples for my family. and every summer, he would share his fruits and veggies with us.
and to top off his kindness he
paid for my braces, just because he wanted to,.
I have so many awesome memories of Mr. Falley and he will always be in my heart.

He will love his new home in heaven, and I know he will be watching over all of us just like he always has.
Thank you for everything Mr. Falley, you will be missed.
love Angela
