Sally was born December 29, 1942 in Tallassee, Alabama and Died April 22, 2014 in Jackson Mississippi. Sally was of the Buddhist faith. She was loved by and will be missed
by all who knew her. Sally spread light and happiness into every life she touched. Sally was a strong, compassionate, and loving wife, mother and grandmother that loved life and her family and friends.
Sally was predeceased by her Father Archie Brown, Her Mother Jane Holt, Her step-father Red Holt, and her Grandmother Ealon Young. Sally is survived by her husband William R.(Rob) Minter Jr, Sons Richard Overton of Smiths Station, AL and Jefferson Foster of Dunwoody, Ga, Grandchildren Lani Overton of Smiths Station, AL and Erin and James Foster and their parents Kathy and James Tilghman of Stafford, VA, Father in Law William R. Minter Sr of Magee, MS, Sisters in Law Pat Giddings of Phoenix, AZ and Anne O'Donnell of Fayetteville, NC,
Brother in Law and Sister in Law John and Robin Minter of Magee,MS, Special Friends Vicki and Ed Deandrea and Susan Gillespie of Jackson, MS, and Special Friend Patsy Glenn of Florence, AL.
We would like to thank the staff of the Fresenius Home Dialysis Center on Lakeland Drive and the Nurses and Doctors at Baptist Hospital In Jackson, MS for their care and compassion.
There will be a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice.
