Pat,
Mom and I saw your father's obituary in the Coastland Times and were so sorry to learn of his passing. I have been living in Raleigh - same house for 24 years now and can't believe you are as close as Greensboro - I had no idea. Would love to get back in touch with you. My email is [email protected].
Love,
Ann

To the Boswell family,
I have just read in the Coastland Times of the Outer Banks of North Carolina that your father Henry has just passed away. At the time that he was the Executive Director of the Chamber of Comerce I was the President. My name is Edward Greene. I was the owner and operator of the than fledgling Island Art Gallery and Christmas Shop. Your father was meticulous in his performance of the reponsibilities of executive director. I always appreciated the several years that he chose to retain that position. His work with us paved the way for the ultimate growth of the organiztion which is now close to 1,000 members and stretches across the entire Outer Banks .
On a personal note I must say I enjoyed having the opportunity to know your folks and your brother Jeb when they would come and visit the Christmas Shop. I was also very impressed with the great success that Jeb had with his well researched book.
Over the years I have often wondered what became of the Boswell family. Please accept my sincerest condolences upon the passing of your father. Yours truly, Edward Greene

Pat, As I read your father's life's journey I was in awe of all he had accomplished. What a honorable and brilliant man he was. You should be as proud of his triumphant life as the sadness you feel in his passing. Peace and love.....

Pat, Betty and I send our thoughts and prayers to you at this time. As a veteran of WWII, and having served in the Navy in the Pacific, your Dad's passing is of special significance to me. Bless you, Gordon & Betty Reynolds, Holly Springs, NC.

We will always have fond memories of the years that Hank and Cathy were our next door neighbors in Grand Junction. Although we were happy for them when they moved to be near family in Greensboro, we were sad to lose them as neighbors and friends.
Sincerely,
Dave & Sharon Gartner

Colonel Boswell was a member of our "Greatest Generation. A career soldier and a true patriot. He was also a gentleman and a fine example for all.
