To the family I'm so sorry for your loss and know it has been some time all day I've been thinking about Beverly I live right across the street from them and Mississippi in Clarksdale and I hadn't seen her for a while but I found a number and got in touch with her and she told me her mother was staying with her and we talked about the old times but the last few days my mind is just been on her heavily and I was trying to get in contact with her through Facebook and I saw the obituary I'm kind of lost for words now because Beverly was one of my childhood friends and even after I got married we both moved on I still have that closeness to her and we kept in touch periodically I just want to say that you know we all love to but God loved her best and she is at peace now and I just hope you guys I have as spirited and happy as she was she never was negative even when we were younger just want to say I'm sorry and my name is Diana it used to be sipper but now I'm a Bozeman God bless you all and I know that Beverly is very very very much missed.

To the Stewart and Scurlock Family, Beverly was a classmate of mines. Although we started off together in public schools and I wander off to Aggie, we always see and greet each other especially when I took short cuts by the Stewart family house to go to Chapel Hill. All of our classmates have lost contact down through the years. I am so sorry to hear that Beverly has gone on. When someone ask the question, where is Beverly Stewart as we knew her from school? I will say she has joined those who has gone on before us, and is having a wonderful time with the Lord. God saw fit that some doughnuts were needed in the heaven. God is still greatly to be praise. May God Bless you and continue to strengthen your family as you capture great memories of Beverly. She will be missed. Thank you Debra for sharing the loss of Beverly Stewart Scurlock. My prayers will continue be with you and the families.

To Scurlock and Stewart Family,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Beverly and I were classmates from 7th grade on up. She was a fun person to be around. If you needed help, she was the one. I will always remember the good times we all had together. God has called her home, but she will be greatly missed. I pray that God give you strength and peace.

To Beverly's Family:
So sorry to hear of your loss. Beverly and I met in the 6th grade at Myrtle Hall Elementary in Clarksdale, MS. We lost contact with each other in the 70's after graduation from high school. However, she was often in our thoughts. She was a good friend. Know that she has gone on to a better place and is at peace. May God bless her family.

After reading the obit you posted here I was thinking the exact same thing about Mrs. Scrulock....I can't remember a time when I went into the shop and didn't see a smile on her face (Mr. Scurlock as well).
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
