Myrna Jordan Obituary
Pearl
Myrna McCullough Jordan, 48, passed from this life Friday, August 26, 2011 at her residence. Visitation is 2:00-5:00pm today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 2:00pm Monday, August 29, 2011 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Myrna was a graduate of Pearl High School, Hinds Community College and the Jackson State School of Law. She was employed as a legal secretary with area law firms for over 25 years. She also served as a caregiver/sitter for a number of years and attended Crossgates Baptist Church in Brandon. A true animal lover, her favorite hobby was raising parrots and dogs.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnny Max McCullough.
Survivors include son, Joshua Wade Jordan of Harrisville; parents, Charles and Evelyn Holmes of Pearl; sisters, Rhonda Luckett and husband David of Pearl, Cindy Ware of Pearl and Beverly Hill and husband Jeff of Duck Hill; brother, Timothy Holmes and wife Pam of Puckett; grandparents, Cagie and Myrtle Holmes of Tylertown; grandchildren, Tara and Kaden Jordan; cousins, Kristin Ware, Amanda Luckett, Zach Luckett, Daisy Holmes, Natalie Dodd, Elizabeth Hill and Lindsey Hill.

My heart is so sad. Myrna and I raised our sons together. We were friends and neighbors for many years. Her smile and laughter were contagious. I will miss her. Josh, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Myrna and I were best friends in school until I moved away for a short period. We had recently reconnected and enjoyed sharing our childhood stories. I am saddened by her passing and my mind is flooding with our recent conversations. I am praying for her family. I will miss your laugh my friend!!
