One of the finest directors to ever grace the "Sonic Boom Of The South". "Pop" Duplessis treated us all like his own. His office was always open for conversation. He made my adjustment to college life a smooth transition. He instilled in us all, life skills and lessons. He taught us a greater appreciation of music. A Couple of his favorites to conduct were "America The Beautiful" and "St. Louis Blues March". Continued rest my dear friend and professor. Your blessings are still among us today. We continue to celebrate you, your legacy and memories.

All these were under the direction of their father for the music of the temple of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, were under the supervision of the king. Along with their relatives - all of them trained and skilled in music for the Lord - they numbered 288. (I Chronicles 25:6-7)
