Not sure what to say?

There is no other like Pops.

One of the finest directors to ever grace the "Sonic Boom Of The South". "Pop" Duplessis treated us all like his own. His office was always open for conversation. He made my adjustment to college life a smooth transition. He instilled in us all, life skills and lessons. He taught us a greater appreciation of music. A Couple of his favorites to conduct were "America The Beautiful" and "St. Louis Blues March". Continued rest my dear friend and professor. Your blessings are still among us today....

The life and memory of Pop has left an indelible impression on so many. Warmest regards to everyone that is saddened by this loss. I love you Pop. LUV DA BOOM

Drum Major Julius Hamilton "New Orleans, LA Finest". May You R.I.P. Your light can now shine forever. You will be truly missed.

May you rest in peace from Drum Majors Ira Vaughn, Al Mac, Spooke, D. Shaw, Mike I, Mike II, James Wesby, Oliver Thompson (Detroit's Finest), Deatrik Bledsoe, and all the other Drum Majors before us and after us. We truly will forever keep you in our spirit, hearts, and lives. You truly blessed us with an opportunity to become someone. We love you and going to miss you dearly. "Black and Blues" was your favorite cut from "The Boom" and it will forever stay with us. GOMAB!

To Mr. Duplessis, Jr. may you rest totally in peace. You truly will always be an inspiration, icon, and most of all a True Brother of Phi Beta Sigma. I will always love and admire, you and your family. You truly made me the humble, loveable, caring, trustworthy, honorable, and hard working man that I've become. Thank God for the times we had with you and your family. GOMAB! Love you and I will definitely miss you.

Condolences to the family from the Halls.
