Alva Peyton Obituary
Canton
Alva James Peyton, III, 63, was the youngest of four children born to the late, Judge A. J. Peyton, Jr. and Mrs. Ruthie Carter Peyton. After an extended illness, A.J. transitioned from earth to eternity on September 5. 2016 at home in Canton, MS with his wife by his bedside.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Dr. Pearl Wales; daughter, Stephanie Wales; sisters, Greta Peyton (Charles) Terry, Alva Ruth Peyton Taylor, Aldena Peyton Snow; brothers, David (Patricia) Peyton, Eddricke (Kara) Peyton, Gerald Peyton; sisters- law, Paulette Wales, Carolyn Jefferson; brothers-in-law, Lafayette (Genie) Wales, and Louis (Monique) Wales, Jr.; numerous aunts nieces, nephews, cousins , other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church at 11:00am in Yazoo City, MS.
