I enjoyed our conversations when I would visit with Ed at McGregor. He would always perk up when I came and made me feel welcome, but rather it was he that always lifted my spirits, he was such an inspiration. We talked about the days gone by in Cleveland, the Indians and matters of Christian faith. He said he remembers as a boy hearing the Indians play and win the World Series of 1920. He sure will be missed, for he was so engaging and still enjoying life at 100 years young.
