Dear Craig & Family, I only recently learned of your Mother's passing. I read the news articles of her life history and it is truly amazing the strength of the human spirit and will. Your Mother Thea is absolutely a testimony of an Enduring Life to be proud of & emulate coming from such times of adversity as a child. Her accomplishments of being a Mother, raising her children, and civic responsibilities too leaves me in awe!
Craig, keep her memory alive & talk often of her with family/friends that knew her as well & her legacy will go on. In peace,

Dear Shoshanna, Jay, Craig and Dan,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. My memories of her are old and faded but she was a wonderful person. I remember her voice as clear as day. As a relatively young widow myself, I truly admire her strength. She raised four amazing individuals. Rest in peace dear Thea you earned it. With love, Lisa (Papish) Sainato

I also would like to thank our dear friends and family who have supported us in this time of our great loss. As well those who have supported me in caring for my mother over the past several years. My mother had a difficult, but long and successful life. We, her children, are her enduring legacy.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all those who braved a thunderstorm to attend my mother's graveside funeral service yesterday. My mother overcame significant adversity to achieve her life's goals. A holocaust survivor who was widowed at 36 years with 4 young children, she persevered, served the Jewish community with distinction and ensured a successful future for her children. I will be eternally grateful for everything my mother did for me. Rest in peace, mom.

While I didn't know Thea well, I remember her as a very nice lady. I would visit with Martin at his plant on E. 90th St. when I was a teenager. I remember well when Martin took me to lunch and advised me to quit smoking to avoid the malady he faced. Both Martin and Thea were very fine people!
