ROBERTA MORRIS Obituary

MORRIS ROBERTA MORRIS (nee Newberger). On Tuesday, September 30, Roberta peacefully passed away at home surrounded by family. She was 56. She leaves behind her husband Ken, son Ray "Jimmy", parents Ray and Ruth (Gless) Newberger, sisters and brother-In-laws Becky and Dale Kuchenbecker, Marie and Rick Podojil, Rita and Vince Picone. Brother-in-laws Dan and Gail Morris, Jim "Smokey" and Mary Morris along with many nieces. nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews. She worked for many years at Micros-Retail as a Sr. Specialist in Software Quality. Although Roberta was a very private person she had a love of nature and animals. She leaves behind her devoted dogs Chelsea and Ping. She was blessed with a very loving family and many wonderful friends. Everyone will indeed miss her amazing quick wit and sense of humor. A very special thank you goes to the Portage County Visiting Nurses, Ruth, Donna and Sue who were so wonderful and provided much comfort to her and the family this past month. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Portage Animal Protective League, or any animal shelter or charity of your choice. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 6th at Shalersville Town Hall from 5 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services entrusted to SHORTS SPICER CRISLIP FUNERAL HOMES RAVENNA CHAPEL.
