Anna Ellen Hammack

Anna "Ellen" Hammack, age 91, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on December 1, 2013 in Rio Rancho, NM.
Ellen was born on April 16, 1922 in Jordan, NM to John Leslie and Evalina (Reynolds) Brissey. After high school, she married Tom Hammack on December 31, 1940 in Tucumcari, NM. She attended First Christian Church in Clovis, NM and was the co-owner of Clovis TV. Ellen was also a Pink Lady at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis.
She is survived by one daughter: Tommie Kemp of Albuquerque, NM; one sister: Gwen Scroggins of Washburn, MO; two granddaughters: Terri Abadie of Albuquerque, NM and Kelli Kurtz of Phoenix, AZ and three great grandchildren: Ben and Sam Abadie of Albuquerque, NM, Katie Kurtz of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tom Hammack; her parents; one son: Woody Hammack; one sister: Juanita Woody and one brother: Johnny Brissey.
Funeral Services are at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, NM with Jon Forrest officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM.
