Flora Freeman Obituary
She was born on April 17, 1925, in Covington, Ga., but had lived in Midway for a number of years. She was a Christian and a member of Midway First Presbyterian Church, where she loved to sing and pray. She loved all children and her family. She attended adult daycare at Coastal Care Center in Richmond Hill for many years.
Survivors include Arthur and Sharon Golden, Thelma Holmes, Roland and Adrienne Griffin, Johnanna and Courtney Griffin, Gwendolyn Price, Richard and Clemontine Washington, Ulysses and Yvonne Richardson, Cynthia Freeman and Howard Freeman.
The family extended special thanks to Woodlands nursing home and their staff.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Midway First Presbyterian Church, Highway 17, Midway, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Dorchester Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
