Josephine Clapsaddle Obituary

Josephine Frances Clapsaddle, 85, of Manchester, Tenn., passed away on Monday, Dec. 20, 2010, at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville.
She was born on Sept. 12, 1925, in Tama, Iowa, to the late Joseph Francis and Edna Martinson Pelisek. She graduated from Algona, Iowa, High School in 1943. She married Don Clapsaddle on Dec. 6, 1946, in Fort Worth, Texas. They resided in Liberty County since 1976, having moved there from Algona. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and three sisters, Martha Lou Anfinson, Margaret Dee, and Agnes Marie Wray.
Mrs. Clapsaddle is survived by one sister, Geraldine Pratt of Toledo, Iowa; two sons, Don Clapsaddle of New Iberia, La., and Jon (Sandy) Clapsaddle of Manchester; five grandchildren, Ame Clapsaddle, Wendy Martin, Sara Rozell, Diana Clapsaddle and Jody Clapsaddle; and six great-grandchildren, Camryn, Noah, Bryson, Kayla, Chloe and George.
