Rosetta Kellerman Obituary
Rosetta "Rosie" Kellerman, 98, of Fort Collins passed on February 21, 2016. She was born December 26th, 1917, the eldest of twin girls, to Jim and Mary Snider of Colfax, N. D. She grew up on a farm during the depression. She met the love of her life, Harold Kellerman, at a young people's meeting in church. She married Harold in 1944. They had 2 sons, Steven and Curtis. They resided in North Dakota until 1963, when they moved to Ft. Collins, CO. Rosie was an active church member, teaching Sunday school and singing in the choir.
Rosie was born with a hole in her heart. This limited her activities, so in 1956 she went to the Mayo Clinic where they put a Teflon patch in her heart. She faced incredible odds with her health, but her faith carried her through. In 1971, Rosie was nominated Colorado Heart Mother of the Year. She had many friends because of her magnetic personality. Rosie was an accomplished artist earning numerous awards for her paintings. She also loved doing crafts, was a wonderful seamstress and yet still had time to play bridge, go bowling and work on search puzzles.
Rosie is survived by her son Steve (Judy); daughter-in-law, Beverly Kellerman; 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and her twin sister, Agatha Mitzel of Wahpeton, N.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; youngest son, Curt; parents; granddaughter, Tria; 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
Graveside service 2:00 pm, Friday at Resthaven Memory Gardens. Family and friends may view the online obituary and sign the guest book at www.resthavencolorado.com

Rosie & Harold are my Godparents .... They always made me feel special. Rosie's personality would make any moment special. I'm so fortunate to have had Rosie a part of my life. I can only smile

Have many fond memories of Rose, we always had a great time visiting with Harold and Rosie...had to go out for donuts and coffee.
Holidays were always filled with laughter. She will be missed.
