Frances Gum Obituary
Frances was born to Hardin and Blanche Newell on the farm south of Dodge City. She graduated from Dodge City High School and worked at JC Penny Co. before marrying Harry Gum, Dec. 20, 1941. They farmed near Wright and Ford and prepared income tax returns and did bookkeeping for many citizens of Dodge City and Southwest Kansas. They owned Gum's Auto Sales in Bucklin.
Services 2 p.m. Friday Feb. 10, 2012, at Olinger's Chapel Hill Mortuary and Cemetery. Frances Gum Memorials to Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton, CO 80120 or Weston Masonic Lodge, PO Box 103, Littleton, CO 80160.
