I met Ed when I was 13 years old. Ed and Jack Foster were
partners as Champion Citabria dealers in the late 60s and I got to ride with Ed when he would go play. Jack always told me that Ed was a pilots pilot and that he was!!
Fly High Ed!!

Connie, Carolyn & I both are so very sad to hear of Ed's passing. Ed was a great man & pilot. I am very proud to say I knew him, & to have been Crew Chief for him on several occasions with him flying "Old Boy" especially the day his air show routine was dedicated to my dad, a former P-51 combat pilot. Please accept our sincere condolences, we are so sorry for your loss.
Godspeed Ed!

Connie,
When I saw you at Piedmont last fall I knew things were not going well for Ed. I am so sorry for your loss (all our loss) and know you are surrounded by many aviation and family friends. Wish I had known both of you better but our paths were on different vectors. Hope to see you again sometime and I know you will be off leading the way as Ed would know of you. Really enjoyed the included video. God bless you and your family and friends- Fly safe!

Ed Bowlin was one of the few, who, when he sat in an airplane it flew as it was intended.
Have a nice flight, Ed.

What a sad day to hear of Ed's passing. We knew each other before Delta, when we were each in the Air National Guard. How times fly. Ed will be remembered for a very long time by a very large group of aviators for the person he was and for the pilot he was. His life was so well lived. Rest in Peace, Ed.
