I will always remember Eddie's gentle sweet spirit, his humor and the kind soul he was. Eddie is safe in his heavenly home now, resting under the mighty wings of our Creator. I know that for his family, friends, and anyone that was touched by Eddie's presence, his footprints will always be engraved in our hearts. RIP

Family; I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made the heaven and earth. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

To Verdie Mae, Jeannette, Doris, Eddie's children, and the entire Jones family I extend my deepest sympathy and condolence to the family. I have some fond memories of Eddie. For example, I remember joy riding with him, my cousin, Charlotte, and his best friend then, Jerry Parham. Eddie was always laughing, smiling,and joking around. He was a nice guy that treated everyone well. Charlotte, my first cousin, remembers his pigeon-toe walk and his fun personality as well. Eddie, you have your wings now, you have no more worries about the troubles of this world, you are safe now from all harm basking in the perfect peace of our Creator. May God strengthen and keep your family during this very difficult time. May you be forever blessed. Marshalynn Parks and family.
