Troy Beatty Obituary
Memphis, TN
son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Troy Beatty, Jr. of Memphis, TN died November 19,2015 at age 76 in Auburn, Alabama after a long illness. He was a graduate of Georgia Tech and entered the Navy as an Ensign upon graduation. He resigned as Lieutenant Commander after 8 years. He then flew for Delta Airlines and retired as Captain in 1999. He was a volunteer Firefighter for the Little Texas Fire Department. He leaves his wife Debra Arnette Beatty, a sister Tina McWhorter of Memphis, TN, a sister Anita Beatty of Auburn, AL and a nephew Eric (Kristen) Price of San Francisco. His funeral will be at Auburn United Methodist Church on November 22, 2015. Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home Opelika, AL has charge. Memorials may be made to Auburn United Methodist Church, 137 S. Gay St. Auburn, Al 36830.
