BARRY STERLING Obituary

Barry Evan Sterling, 70, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2014, at the MemphisVeterans Medical Center. He was co- owner of Sterling Company Realtors for 15 years, where he became a life member of the Multi-Million Dollar Realtor's Sales Club, along with other business interests. Mr. Sterling was active in the Juvenile Court System serving as a probation officer. He served three terms in the Tennessee State Legislature representing the east Shelby county district. He was recognized as Tennessee's Most Outstanding Man by the Tennessee Jaycees and was an avid lover of the arts. Mr. Sterling is survived by his daughter, Britain Lenz (Adam); son, Justice Sterling (Janece); brother, Harold Sterling Jr. and grandchildren, Ryan Elizabeth Lenz and Baby Lenz. The family will receive friends Wednesday, April 23 from 5-7 p.m. and services on Thursday, April 24 at 11:30 a.m., all at: Memorial Park Funeral Home, "Behind the stone wall", 901-767-8930.
