Grace Reifsneider Obituary

Grace Stillwell Reifsneider, resident at The Village, Germantown, TN. died Friday, October 9, 2009. She was born in Plainfield, New Jersey on January 29, 1924. Grace was preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Reifsneider, and great-grandson, Robert Forrest Spence. Her two daughters, Ellen Reifsneider of Hingham, MA and Diane R. Spence and son-in-law Ron of Germantown, TN survive her. She is also survived by three grandchildren and their spouses, Ryan (Corrine) Spence of Tacoma, WA, Anne (Jon) Lucas of Nashville, TN, and Dr. David (Brittany) Spence of Memphis, TN and three great-grandchildren, Olivia and Jonathan Lucas and Austin Spence. Services will be held on Friday, October 16 at 2 p.m. at The Church of the Holy Communion, Memphis, TN. Interment will be at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Waretown, New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Forrest Spence Fund, a non-profit fund to assist with the non-medical needs of critically or chronically ill children and their families throughout the Mid-South: The Forrest Spence Fund, 352 Leonora, Memphis, TN. 38117.
