Bill KANELLIS Obituary

Bill Kanellis Resident of Antioch Bill Kanellis, age 81, passed away at his home on November 18th, 2010 after an 8 year battle with Alzheimer's. He was born March 14th, 1929 in Iowa City, Iowa. Son of James and Elda Kanellis. He and his late wife Shirley came to California in 1947 and raised their family in Danville, California. He is preceded in death by his daughter Diane Hoyt and his wife Shirley Kanellis. Bill is survived by many loving family members, his son & daughter-in-law Jeff and Danelle Kanellis, his son Curt Kanellis and his daughter and son-in-law Teri and Jim Fisi. He was known as "Papa" to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren Jeff Blagg, Richard Wheeler, Amber Weiss, Katie & Shelly Fisi, Christine Hoyt, Sarah Kanellis, Carly Kanellis, Jaime Kanellis, Connor Kanellis and 4 great-grandchildren Jarett & J.C. Blagg, Kari Diane Wheeler and the newest, Nicholas James Weiss. He was loved by all that knew him and he will be missed by everyone he touched.
