Lee, Shelby, Lee II, and Gibson Family,
I just heard about Cathy's passing a few hours ago. Years may go by, but memories last forever. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Very often throughout the years I have thought how fortunate she was to have a long, loving marriage and a family who meant the world to her. Thoughts and prayers, God bless and be with you.
Much love, Lynda Schnitzer

Dear Weiss family: I am sorry for your loss. Please accept my most heartfelt condolences. I went to school with Cathy and for many years, her and I sat next to each other because of our last names ie: Gibson, Gill. She was humorous, intelligent, and truly a beautiful person!

At a time like this, words are inadequate to describe ones emotions. I was a classmate at Grand Island High School and my recollection of Cathy was that she was friends with everyone. From the prior entries, it appears she led her life after high school in a similar way and I'm sure everyone she touched is a better person because of their association with her. I want to convey my family's sympathy to her family and close friends and we shall pray for Cathy and her family that they may find comfort from GOD!

Lee and Family,

We're so sorry to hear about the passing of your wife, Mother and Grandmother.

I graduated with Cathy 1970 and can only say kind things about her. She was shy, but also friendly, smart and very beautiful.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

God Bless You All,

Lauren LeFevre

Uncle Lee, Shelby, Lil Lee, Tim, Stephanie and family, our sincere condolences to each and everyone one of you. Aunt Cathy always knew how to make us kids laugh. She definitely takes the goofiest face contest hands-down. Her laughter will be missed but it is comforting knowing she is at peace. I do hope you all find comfort knowing she is at peace. Memories of Aunt Cathy will be cherished forever. Love you all!!

Lee, Shelby and Tim, Kassidy and Alec, Lee and Stephanie; my heart aches for you all. Cathy was much too young to leave us and but she is no longer suffering. She will always be in our hearts and keeping an eye on us along with Dad. (She always was his favorite.) We all loved her and you can take comfort in the undeniable fact that she loved all of you with her whole being. She gave so much to everyone she knew, and was always patient and kind. I always envied her unending patience. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, doting Grandmother, loyal sister, and caring daughter. As the saying goes, "God only gives us what we can handle", - I sure hope so. Our love, hugs, and prayers are with all of you today and always.

Love,
Bill and Mary Lynn

In the past year there has been many times that I sat and watched as people would wonder what to do and how they could make things better. You have given more than anyone could ever ask and now it's time to remember the joy that Cathy brought to our lives.

Mom...I wish you didn't have to fight the fight for so long. I am glad you can finally be free of pain and hospitals. Please know that I feel so blessed and thankful for having you as my mother. You taught me how to love, to laugh, to imagine, to speak what I feel and to be a strong independent woman. You showed me how to be patient with my children by being patient with me. I know you will still be here to help guide me. Thank you for leaving me with a strong loving father and a brother I know I could call at a moments notice. Kiss Grandpa and hug Cecil for me. I love you! Forever, Shelby
