Bill was a dear fiend to me and my family and was one of the most energetic and helpful people I have ever met.

All of us can only hope to live as long as Bill and to stay as active as he did in the pursuit of his love of everything in the outdoors.

Sometimes it seemed to me that Bill was able to live three lifetimes. I could listen to his enduro riding stories for hours about his races through the Pines in the 1940's on full sized Harley-Davidsons. Then he could entertain us again for hours with stories of his muskrat trapping and duck hunting in his youth.

Bill gave my son Mike and I several of his hand made decoys and some of his traps that are still tagged with his name and they will be treasured.

One of the things I will miss the most is our get togethers at the MidAtlantic Fishing Tournament each summer in Cape May. I will always picture Bill smiling, standing at the railing, front and center with his ever-present camera in his front pocket.

He will be deeply missed. God Bless Bill and his family.

I want to offer my condolences to Peg, Kathy, Sue, and Dawne.

Bill was a special person. He was a good neighbor to our family and spent countless hours fishing and hunting with my father through the years. Bill dedicated many years of service to the Square Circle Sportsman's Club as the club historian, photographer, part of the over the hill gang, and he wrote many articles in the Club's publications. The Club has Bill to thank for the Nature Trail. He donated his time, skill, and materials in maintaining the Nature Trail and he was always concerned about feeding the wildlife. Bill was an avid reader, traveled extensively, and enjoyed spending time on his computeramazing for a man in his 90's! No matter when I visited with Bill and Peg it was a common sight to see Kathy, Sue, Dawne, or one of the grandchildren stopping by. I will hold dear the memory of the Red Lobster lunches with Bill and Peg. Bill lived a long life and he accomplished much. He will be missed and he will be remembered fondly.

Hunting with Bill for the last 35 years with Retreat Gun Club was a pleasure. He will be missed by many good friends. Hunting season will not be the same without Bill. Thoughts and prayers to his wife and family.
