Brilliant actress and gorgeous girl. Obviously got looks, brains and talent from great parents Madge and James. Besides these attributes Gia was loved by many friends. I never had the pleasure, but wish I did. My loss. Reminds me of my son, with all his charities and friends. He has hundreds, oR so it seems. Gia's life was short, but full. And it looks like she had fun. It's not the length of the life, but the life in the length, however long. Looks like Gia had plenty of life.Husband, children, family, friends, career, travel, face of an angel and the smarts and sense to do it all. She was short lived, but not short changed. My family met tragedy long ago. Mom lost dad and my sister at young ages. Thank God for the Gia's and Pete jrs.and good ones on this planet. Where would we be without them? You know it's not just a saying,"The good die young." I' ve seen it. Good nite and bless us all. Pete M. sr.

I was lucky enough to get to play with Gia in Merilyn Carney's acting workshop in Burbank, CA. We had some great fun and I loved going after her in a scene b/ca she was such fun and a team player. She was a character, immediately likeable, had awkward motor skills, and a snorting laughter that will forever be emblazoned in my memory. I am grateful to the Universe for letting our paths cross in this lifetime. I will celebrate her every day and hope that her family will be able to laugh again as their hearts mend and their memories rejoice of the good times. Rest in peace Gia McGinley.

When I opened the letter from Bishop Eustace my heart sank and tears flowed. Gia was a very close friend of mine and I will always remember her for being the most positive person I have ever known. She had the best spirit and followed her dreams-there was no doubt she was going to be sucessful in everything. My prayers go out to her family, especially her mom, brother and husband and her beautiful boys. May you find peace and comfort during this terrible time.

Gia, the beautiful daughter of my dear friend Madeline, who grew up to be the kindest, most gentle woman, mother, wife, sister, daughter, grandaughter and friend. I was blessed to reconnect with her in her adult years. Her spirit will live on in her sons and in all of those she touched in her lifetime. I mourn the loss of her life and her families loss of her living soul. May God give her husband, her brother, her mother and all of the Romanelli and McGinley family the strength to bear the burden of this tragic loss.

I did not personally know Gia but learned of her and her passing through a friend. Since then I have not been able to stop thinking of her. I want her family to know that her story has left an indelible mark on my heart. She has made me want to be the best mom and friend that I can be. She has left a legacy on this earth that will have an impact for a long time to come. May the memories of her warm your spirit and keep you holding on until you meet again one day. May Gia and Sammy rest in eternal peace. Sincerely,

I will always remember Gia's strong will and fierce spirit. She had deep political convictions, yet she remained compassionate to those with opposing views. A rare trait that must be attributed to a rare family. Thank you to the McGinley's for Gia. Thank you to the Romanelli's for nurturing her character. Thank you for touching so many people Gia. You are missed.

My deepest heartfelt sympathy goes out to Madeline, Scott, Charles and the boys.
Years ago I worked for Mr and Mrs Mazzola as a caregiver from Burlington County Visiting Nurse Assoc. It was the highlight of my day to be greeted each morning by Gia and Scott. They were two of the most delightful children. Gia always volunteered to take walks with her grandfather and me. Scott would play the piano and Gia would dance around the room. One day I told Gia she could be Miss America, she shyly said, I can't because of my scars" "Gia, I said, "anything you choose to do you will accomplish." I knew she would do great things, because of her shining inner light and zeal for life. Over all these years I have never forgotten that precious little girl who lit up the house. My heart is broken for you all lossing Gia and her precious son Samson is a burden noone should have to bare alone. May God comfort your hearts with peace that only He can give.

My deepest sympathies to Madeline, Scott and the Romanelli family on the loss of your beloved Gia and baby Samson. Although it was many years ago when I worked with her mother, I remember Gia as sweet and talented little girl who was the "apple of her mother's eye". May God bless you and your family and may your many cherished memories bring you peace and comfort at this time of sorrow.

Gia was her mother's angel. It is with a sad, heavy heart that I write how incredibly sorry I am to hear of this tragic passing. Here they were expecting another, wonderful addition to their beautiful family and now this. My heart goes out to her entire family, and especially her mother, my dear friend Madeline, and her brother Scott who knew and loved her for her 39 years. I know how Madeline adored her and was so incredibly proud of her and how she went after her dreams with gusto and resolve. And to her husband Charlie and the twins, my sincerest sympathy for your unfathomable loss. It is unbearable and unthinkable for you all. God help you all and be with you in this tragic loss of your dear wife and mother, daughter and sister. I am beyond grief for you all, and pray that you find some comfort in memories and in the love that she gave to you all. Truly she was an angel.

I met Gia in 2000, when I first moved to Los Angeles. She was a lovely, intelligent, funny, warm and compassionate friend who had a heart of gold! Unfortunately, it’s common to lose ties with people in this big city, but I will always remember and treasure the moments and memories I shared with her. It breaks my heart that she is gone, but I know her spirit is within all of us, the people she has touched. My thoughts and prayers go out to all her family and friends, especially Charlie and their boys. I love and miss you, Gia!! xoxo
