Paul Donohue Obituary

DONOHUE,Paul P., Jr. Of Titusville, FL, 83, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. He was born in Jenkintown, PA and raised in Strafford, PA and lived in Voorhees, NJ for forty years. He attended Saint Joseph's College and served in the U.S. Army Corp. from 1943-1946 stationed in Maui, Hawaii. He worked in the Mutuel Department at Race Tracks in PA and NJ. He became Head Cashier at Liberty Bell Race Track, Keystone/Philadelphia Park Race Track, and retired from Atlantic City Race Track in the same capacity. He was a member of the Indian River Manatees Chapter FMCA and the Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was an avid boater on the Chesapeake Bay and an "RVer" while living in FL at the Great Outdoors RV & Golf Club Community. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Theresa Donohue and brother Eugene. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janice Donohue; daughter, Patricia (Duane) Eberlein of CO, son, Peter of Glassboro, NJ and grand-daughter, Victoria Eberlein and brother, Richard of Moorestown, NJ and many nieces and nephews in NJ. Memorial services were held Thursday, April 16 at The Great Outdoors Church. A military burial was at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to charity of your choice to the Kidney Foundation or Heart Association. North Brevard Funeral Home of Titusville was in charge of arrangements.
