On May 19 2002 Surrounded by his loving family Age 60 of Voorhees Twp (formerly of Gloucester City NJ).
Loving Husband for 35 years to Mary V. (nee Grasso). Devoted father of Raymond R. Richards (Elizabeth) of Norwalk CT Ryan R. Richards (Dana) of Mullica Hill and Robert R. Richards of Voorhees Twp. Loving son of Henrietta Richards of Gloucester City. Dear Brother of Mary Jane Goheen (John) of Gloucester City and Ralph R. Richards (Marie) of Berlin Borough. Loving Grandfather of 4 beautiful girls: Victoria Gia Deven and Riley.
Mr. Richards was known to all as 'Reds' and was raised in Gloucester City and graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School in 1960. Since 1969 Robert has lived in Voorhees Twp. and was President of Voorhees-Gibbsboro Little League Association. Mr. Richards was a local disc jockey for 20 years and was a record industry manager for Warner Brothers Promotions for 15 years. The last five years he has worked for PATCO Equipment Department in Lindenwold as a maintenance worker.
Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing on Tuesday evening from 7 to 9PM and Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the McCANN FUNERAL HOME 851 Monmouth St. (at Brown St.) Gloucester City NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City NJ. Interment Oak Grove Cem. Hammonton NJ.
