Therese was such a WONDERFUL fiend! Always checking in to see how I was getting along.
She was a gracious hostess who always delighted in showing visitors her plentiful and beautiful flower gardens, so lovingly cared for, plus sharing - so unselfishly - cuttings for you to take home.
When you attended one of Therese's luncheons, the food and the atmosphere were always tasteful. You would sit surrounded by her proudly displayed photos of her family, and be entertained with anecdotes about her grandchildren, and the amusing things that they had said.
She will be remembered as an Outstanding American Field Service (AFS) supporter in so many ways - Opening her home for our local Garden State South chapter meetings, providing the home away from Home for so many AFS exchange students, and for being one of the top interviews for students who applied to participate in the AFS exchange program.
I am so sorry for her loss - we all loved her but Our Father, who looks high and looks low; he loved her best.
She will always be remembered with heartfelt and lasting fondness.

Dear Christoffer, Cedric and Delphine,
I met Thésou, my cousine, for the first time in the end of summer, back in 1944 on the belgian coast.
She was just a baby and wouldn't take her meal while we had been starving for four years! I was just a young boy and didn't understand what was going on because everybody was so cheerfull.
Many years later I met you kids, in Haddonsfield as I was passing by during my trips to the US.
Cedric, you also visited us later in in Paris.
Now you're spread over the world, everyone with his own worries, but, be it thin, the familly string is still there.
On this side of the ocean, I had big dark cloud on Christmas last year, just as you had on your side. By hart with you.
Your Uncle Michel.

Barringer family, I am saddened to learn of your mother's passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences. I was a regular visitor to your household during the years I lived in Haddonfield while we were growing up and your mother was always so kind, caring and genuinely upbeat. I remember how much she loved all of you and also how she made me feel so welcome in your home. She made the world a better place.

Ah, the memories of dear Thesou! Food was always involved, along with smiles, stories and the warmest of hearts. She was compassionate, always caring for others. We will miss her so much but know hers was a life well lived. Our lives are richer for having known and loved this dear friend, wife, mother and grandmother.
