Gregory Rawski Obituary
Greg was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Daylight. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Greg was a US Army Veteran.
He retired in 2005, after 20 years service, from TRW, as a Director of Quality Control.
Greg had a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Rawski; and mother-in-law, Vilma Helen Korotnayi Prekop.
Greg is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon L. (Prekop) Rawski, of Boonville; son, Gregory E. and Lindsay (Mattingly) Rawski, of Boonville; daughters, Correy E. Adams (Chad), of Perrysburg, Ohio, Audren L. Nichols (Andrew), of Evansville, and Shannon L. Rawski of Fayetteville, Ark.; grandchildren, Lanna Adams, Ava Adams and Isabella Rawski; mother, Dorothy Rawski of Toledo, Ohio; sister, Janice LaFountain (Ronald); brother, Martin Rawski (Diane); brother, Kenneth Rawski (April); sister, Kathy Murnen (Kevin); and brother, Laurence Rawski (JoAnn); father-in-law, Emil Prekop (Anna Mae); and 10 nieces and nephews.
Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2010, at St. John's Catholic Church, in Daylight, with burial to follow in St. John's Cemetery. The Vanderburgh County Retired Veterans Memorial Club will conduct military services. Friends may visit Monday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rawski Family,
Deepest condolences. Greg was an involved, energetic, fun dad to be around growing up in Toledo. I'll always remember great times spent as a youth on the basketball court "Vanilla Thunder" built in his backyard for his children and their friends. All our best to you in this difficult time.

Rawski Family....
I heard of Greg's passing a short time ago and am profoundly saddened.
We were born six months apart. As young kids, Greg and I fought like cats and dogs, but as we grew up we came to like and respect each other. We lived about two blocks from each other in Point Place, we went to grade school (We shared Sr. Angelita at St. John's) and high school together and shared the house at Manhattan Blvd. and Stickney Avenue for a couple of years before he married Sharon. We shared a lot of memories.
Greg will be in our prayers as will his family. May he rest in peace.
