Evansville, Ind.
Rev. Ronald Eugene White, 78, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at the Heritage Center.
Ronald was born in Grantsburg, IN on February 18, 1938 to the late Clifford Floyd and Hilda Jane (Sarles) White. He graduated from George Washington High School in Indianapolis in 1956 and from Union Bible Seminary in Lebanon in 1966. Ronald married his sweetheart, Carolyn Sue (Mattingly) White on May 18, 1957. He was the Pastor at Grace Church of the Nazarene in Evansville for eleven years. Ronald was also the Pastor at many other Nazarene Churches around Indiana over the course of 37 years in the ministry. He will be deeply missed.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Carolyn White, daughters, Kimberly Ann Wood (Jim) and Susan Elaine White; son, Timothy Patrick White; granddaughters, Olivia Suzanne White and Kyley Vincent; grandson, Konner Vincent; great-grandson, Ky'Mar; brothers, Harry White (Carolyn), David White (Betty), Anthony White (Sylvia); sister, Diana Branham (Greg); sisters-in-law, Nancy Shank (Mike), Diane Thompson (Keith); and by a brother-in-law, Don Mattingly.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Vern White; an infant sister; and by his daughter, Teresa Lynn White.
A celebration of Ronald's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 5029 Broadway Ave, Evansville, IN 47712 with Pastor Brett Doninger officiating.

I accidentally ran across the obituary of Ron today we all grew up in the old west side Church of the Nazarene and I am sorry for his passing I remember the very last homecoming service we had at the old church Ron hollered at me said hi Charlotte well I know there will be another high someday when we again made in heaven and I know he's there rejoicing with the Lord and many others that have gone on before my prayers are with his family and his loved ones

I am so sorry, just was heard today that your loving husband and Father, grandad, friend has passed. He was such a friendly kind soft spoken man. I was told by his friend that he has passed into a new everlasting world called Heaven. I agree. Our Mother MJ Reed passed earlier this month. May they both rest in peace.

We send our love, hugs, and prayers to Carolyn and the family during this time of great loss. How many wonderful memories we have of the times we spent with Ron and Carolyn when we were in meetings in their church there near Indianapolis.
