EJ,
We were three years apart at Bosse. Judging from the obituary your mom led a full and wonderfully fun life. I pray peace for you and your family at this time. God bless.

I helped take care of Shannon at Select I must say she was an awesome lady. She is some one who you don't forget. Now I know why she would make a face every time the word fart was said. Heaven has gained one funny lady.... Kristal Blaine Evansville In.

What a perfect obituary to honor a wonderful person and mother. I know that you all celebrated her life in her passing. I hope this inspires more to celebrate life instead of mourn the loss of others. Great job, she sounds like a precious lady! We will all see her one day when "Jesus collects us as well".
My sympathy....

Even though I do not know the family, I had to send my sympathy as I can tell based on the obit, the family has suffered a major loss. The minister that eulogized my 86 year old Aunt appropropriately used humor as well--we were all laughing and crying. What a way to celebrate a life! May your memories of this great lady get you through your loss.

I worked with Shannon's Dad, "Pappy Jack" Dutton. He talked about Shannon a lot. Sounds like she had the same wonderful personality as her Daddy. My Deepest Sympathy.

My condolences to the Becker family. And I give an A+ for the obituary, I loved the humorous, personal touches written with the mannerisms and memories of a dear loved one in mind. (I wish more were written in a like manner, highlighting the idiosyncrasies that make us the people we are.) God bless.

What a beautiful tribute to your mother. Making her obit so full of the things that she said and loved. If only more were to write obits like this. I'm so sorry for your loss. But you now have an angel watching down upon you and laughing at what was wrote. God Bless.
