A Christian for over 80 years, Aline was a member of the Washington Avenue Church of Christ, where she was for many years a Cradle Roll Class teacher. She was a published poet. Besides her own books, her poems have appeared in such magazines as Sunshine and Ideal, in other books of poetry and recited at weddings and funerals. Recognition included the Editor Choice Award from the National Library of Poetry, Special Edition, Best Poems of 1995, Library of Congress, Golden Poet Award and World of Poetry.
An accomplished seamstress, Aline has made hundreds of assorted dolls and stuffed toys that delighted many recipients.

I will always have fond memories of the time I ws in the Ubelhor home, whether it be a holiday or family work day. The love and family bond she instilled in her children was always evident and present. Her poetry and sewing were truely God given gifts and she used them well.

My heart felt condolences to all the family. I always considered it a priviledge to be a neighbor. Ailine will be missed by all that knew her.
